Utelisys’ Internet services for hubstudios

The hubstudios building is connected to the Utelisys Internet connection via a central fiber optic connection. Internet services are delivered through the data port in the living room.

Internet

The data port can be used to directly connect a laptop or computer using a network cable. There is no need for a modem. If WiFi is required, the resident will need to procure a WiFi router. Utelisys recommends to use the 5 GHz frequency on a dual-band WiFi router for this purpose which is less sensitive to interference from WiFi networks in the immediate vicinity.

If a WiFi router is used, this almost always will work with the default settings. If these are insufficient, the router can be set to ‘DHCP’ or ‘Automatic’.

TV

Per 1 april 2024 TV services are no longer offered at the Hubstudios locations.
