Utelisys Internet Services for De Struyck<\/h4>\n

The Struyck building is connected to the Utelisys Internet connection via a central fiber optic connection. Subsequently, Internet services are delivered through the data port in the living room.<\/p>\n

Internet<\/h4>\n

The data port can be used to directly connect a laptop or computer using a network cable. There is no need for a modem. If WiFi is required, the resident will need to procure a WiFi router. Utelisys recommends using the 5 GHz frequency<\/strong> on a dual-band WiFi router for this purpose, as it is less sensitive to interference from WiFi networks in the immediate vicinity.<\/p>\n

If a WiFi router is used, this almost always works with the default settings. If these are insufficient, the router can be set to \u2018DHCP\u2019<\/strong> or \u2018Automatic\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nAttention:<\/strong> If you choose to connect the computer or laptop directly, configure the Internet connection as a ‘Public network’<\/strong>. The necessary security measures are then taken as standard.\n<\/p>\n
